This snowy winter family photoshoot brings Christmas spirit and mood for upcoming holidays. Winter is definitely one of my favourite seasons of the year. With its gorgeous trees covered in fresh snow and overall mysterious beauty.
Kate and Alexander wanted to make it special for Julianna's first birthday so we decided to take advantage of the season and do a photoshoot on a top of the mountain, one of the most beautiful places in Vancouver - Grouse Mountain. There was no hesitation it will look magical!
When we got to the top of the mountain, it was snowing a lot, felt more like a blizzard, however we made it happen. Taking step by step we visited Santa's Workshop, went for a Light walk and walked on the beautiful sites of the mountain. Saturday morning photoshoot turned out into a winter adventure that left us in awe with the honest beauty of Canadian nature.
Grouse Mountain Resort
Known as both a resort and an attraction, Grouse Mountain is a popular North Vancouver year-round mountain playground. There’s no better view of Vancouver’s North Shore and the city of Vancouver than the one you’ll see from the famous Grouse Mountain Skyride, an aerial tram that ferries visitors up the mountain 365 days a year.
Especially magical time of the year to visit is winter. Grouse mountain features 8,000 square foot mountaintop Ice Skating Pond, surrounded by snow-topped trees, the most gorgeous Light Walk, the entrance of which is marked by a glowing light tunnel, just off of the mountaintop Skating Pond and lots of other great activities.
